Changing Plans: In general, you can change medical plans only during Open Enrollment, which is usually held in November. The change becomes effective on January 1.
If your medical insurance provider leaves your California HMO, you may be able to transfer into a different UC-sponsored California HMO, subject to processing deadlines. Call UC Customer Service (1-800-888-8267) for more information.
