As previously announced, an election will be held May 29 to June 22, 2007, to select two employees who are not members of the Academic Senate to serve on the University of California Retirement System (UCRS) Advisory Board.

A list of candidates for the two Board seats has been posted at the Board election website. The candidates' background information and statements will be posted at the site the week of May 14 - 18 and will be available through the end of the voting period.

Voting will be conducted online May 29 - June 22. Employees who are eligible to vote will be able to do so by following the "Vote Now" link that will be posted on the Board election website starting May 29. The site currently has background information with details about the UCRS Board, election rules, and eligibility definitions.

The information in this announcement will be available at the election website in Chinese, Tagalog, and Spanish translations.
