UC recently hired a new vendor to print annual tax statements, monthly benefits checks, and direct deposit statements.
As a result of this change, these documents may look different from those you previously received. The new vendor recently printed the 2011 annual tax statements and, in addition, the statements were mailed from North Carolina rather than California, as they had been in the past.
Retirees should receive the document sometime before Jan. 31.
Also, beginning the week of Jan. 23, you can view and print your tax statement online. Simply sign in to your personal account on At Your Service Online and select "Tax Statements" from the menu. If you don't receive your tax statement by Jan. 31 and don't have access to the internet, call UC Customer Service (800-888-8267) after Jan. 31 to get a new one.
In April, the new vendor will begin printing benefits checks and direct deposit statements for those not viewing them online.
