Changes Names

Blue Cross of California will be renamed Anthem Blue Cross starting April 1. This change affects UC-sponsored medical plans Blue Cross PLUS, Blue Cross PPO, High Option and Core. Medical plan members will receive new identification cards to reflect the name change.
Anthem is the nation’s largest health benefits company and the Anthem name is used by 11 other health plans across the country. The internet address for Anthem Blue Cross plans has changed to www.anthem.com/ca/uc/.
