UC President Robert C. Dynes has announced the University of California Senior Leadership Institute (UCSLI), a program designed to help build a strong and diverse leadership across the University.
It will be held June 17 to 21, 2007 at the Paradise Point Resort in San Diego. The theme for this year’s program is “Fulfilling Our Mission: Building on Excellence and Understanding Leadership Challenges.”
UCSLI provides an opportunity for a group of about 55 academic and administrative leaders to learn about the complex factors involved in decision-making at the University; think strategically about the critical issues facing higher education and the UC in particular; and gain insight into their individual leadership strengths.
The UC Chancellors and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Director will nominate participants for the UCSLI program.
