Aetna's acquisition of Prudential HealthCare has just been finalized. However, the University has received assurances that Aetna will honor the contracts that Prudential currently has in place—including those for UC's medical plans UC Care, Prudential High Option, and Core. Aetna's website has a press release about the acquisition.
