Effective January 1, 2006, UC’s mileage reimbursement rates will decrease to reflect changes announced recently by the Internal Revenue Service.
The standard reimbursement rate for the use of a private automobile for University business travel will decrease from 48.5 cents a mile to 44.5 cents a mile.
The standard reimbursement rate for driving or shipping an automobile in connection with a move or relocation will decrease from 22 cents a mile to 18 cents a mile.
