The Alta Bates Medical Group recently sent a letter in error to Health Net and PacifiCare enrollees regarding their medical plan enrollment. The letter, addressed to "Dear CalPERS member," asks the member to choose the "Blue Shield HMO" during Open Enrollment.

Please disregard this letter, which was intended for CalPERS members. It does not apply UC employees and annuitants.

Both Alta Bates and Health Net plan to send retraction letters to affected members.
