UC requires all faculty, staff and retirees who enroll family members in their medical, dental and/or vision insurance plans to provide documents to verify their family members' eligibility for coverage.

Employees and retirees will receive a packet of materials from SECOVA to help them complete the verification process. Recipients must respond by the deadline shown on their letter or they risk de-enrollment of their family members from UC benefits.

UC has hired SECOVA, Inc. to administer the process. UC chose SECOVA because of its experience in family member verification projects for large organizations, their commitment to customer service and their state-of-the-art security processes to protect the confidential data of our employees and retirees.
