The University met with UPTE for continued negotiations on a successor contract for Research Support Professional Employees and Technical Employees on January 22-23 in Oakland.
During this session the University finished presenting almost all of its proposals, including a local proposal for increases for a group of CRS employees at San Diego, which was rejected by the union.
The next bargaining dates are scheduled for February 5-6. The University looks forward to continued good faith bargaining with the Union as the parties work together to make progress through the negotiation process in order to reach timely agreement on a new contract for RX and TX employees.
