AFSCME REJECTS UC PACKAGE PROPOSAL
UNIVERSITY REITERATES REQUEST FOR AFSCME'S RESPONSE ON A NUMBER OF OPEN ITEMS
At Thursday's bargaining session, AFSCME rejected UC's package proposal from October 25th. The University again asked for the union's response to a number of UC requests, but received no response from AFSCME.
The University presented the union with a thorough explanation of the salary survey process, which helps UC determine market competitive salary proposals for each location and PCT classification.
UC received AFSCME's wage proposal, which it will review and respond to at a later bargaining date.
