If the addition of the course does not cause the NSF’s appointment to exceed 100%, then the NSF can request to be considered. The University must consider the NSF’s request, provided that the NSF is qualified. The University may elect to hire another NSF, but would need to demonstrate that it considered the NSF’s request.
