Clarification: A written censure is a formal reprimand for misconduct or dereliction of academic duties. Written censure may be part of a formal disciplinary process. A written letter of censure requires a formal notice process as outlined in sections C, D and E of this article. Letters of warning or counseling memos are not a form of discipline and therefore do not trigger any notice process.
