The Management Rights article identifies actions that have been reserved to management’s prerogative. The provisions of this article should be read in conjunction with the relevant portions of the remainder of the collective bargaining agreement to determine whether other portions of the agreement have modified the stated rights. Article 36 (Past Practice) and Article 37 (Waiver) may also add to or modify management rights. It should also be noted that this article does not contain an exhaustive list of the rights of management. |
