Clarification: NSF are eligible for merit in the pre-six period in accord with campus procedures, if such procedures exist. Thereafter, NSF are eligible for a merit increase upon the initial continuing appointment and at 3 calendar-year intervals as a continuing appointee if their performance is deemed excellent.
