The Professional Librarians Unit (LX) is a systemwide bargaining unit of non-supervisory professional librarians who provide vital services to maintain the highest quality academic, scientific and medical library facilities at all UC campuses and medical centers. The unit is represented by the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). Currently, the unit includes approximately 351* employees.
