Currently, the University of California employs about 17,000 clerical employees throughout the University system. This systemwide clerical bargaining unit is represented by the Coalition of University Employees (CUE).
Clerical employees work in virtually every department and facility in the University of California. These employees are engaged in a great variety of tasks, providing essential support services for the University's mission of teaching, research and public service.
