After three months of bargaining, the University of California is pleased to announce a tentative agreement with the American Federation of Teachers over a new contract for University librarians. The parties reached tentative agreement at 3:43 am on Sunday, March 9th after a long weekend of bargaining. The agreement is the result of hard work and compromise on the part of both bargaining teams.
More information on the details of the tentative agreement will be available after the union's ratification vote, which is currently scheduled for March 31st.
