After you've enrolled in HCRA or DepCare, follow the steps below to set up your account online:

1. Go to the SHPS website and select "Logins–Participants/Members" in the upper left-hand corner.
2. Enter the personal information requested and select "Go."
3. If you want SHPS to communicate with you via email, select the "Email" button and provide your email address. This is optional. If you want SHPS to send transaction information via U.S. Mail, skip this step.
4. If you want to sign up for direct deposit of your reimbursements, select "Get Documents." Print the Electronic Funds Transfer Form, complete it, and return it to SHPS via U. S. Mail.

Once you've set up your account, you can check your balances on the SHPS website. Login to display your account status and your annual election.
