UC’s flexible spending accounts—Dependent Care (DepCare) and the Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA)—are administered by SHPS, Inc. SHPS maintains a website with lots of useful information about flexible spending accounts. Important: On the SHPS website, only the information about flexible spending accounts (FSAs) is relevant to UC employees. SHPS provides a variety of other administrative services for its other clients, but this information does not apply to UC employees.

On the SHPS website you can:

• Login to see your account status
• Select "Flexible Spending Accounts" to get information about DepCare and HCRA including frequently asked questions and an FSA Calculator.
