Employees are eligible for Full benefits if they are members of a UC-sponsored defined benefit retirement plan. They qualify for the UC Retirement Plan (UCRP) if appointed to work at least 50% time for a year or more or if they work in an eligible appointment for 1,000 hours in a 12-month period.
