UC's annual Open Enrollment for health and welfare plans is from November 1 through November 27. Those who are eligible will receive an Open Enrollment brochure in late October that will include general information, 2008 plan rates, a medical plan benefit chart, eligibility rules, and highlights of plan changes.

Detailed Open Enrollment information will be available in late October on the At Your Service website. At Your Service will provide decision-making tools, enrollment instructions, health and welfare plan information, and benefits fair schedules. Employees may sign in to At Your Service Online (Sign In to My Accounts button) for personal information about their current enrollments. This also is where employees will complete their Open Enrollment transactions beginning November 1.

Actions you can take

During Open Enrollment, you can:

  • Change to a different medical plan or add eligible family members.
  • Enroll in ARAG Legal Plan.
  • Enroll or re-enroll in the Health Care Reimbursement Account and Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (remember, you must re-enroll in these plans each year).
  • Enroll in or opt out of medical, dental, vision and legal plans or cancel coverage for family members.

All changes will be effective on January 1, 2008.
