Open Enrollment Is Underway
|
Open Enrollment for 2008 is now under way, and you have until November 27 to review your current UC health and welfare benefits and make any changes for next year. You will find detailed information and can make your changes, if any, at the Open Enrollment website.
Key changes for 2008
- A new no-cost, voluntary, confidential wellness program will be available to employees and their covered adult family members in all medical plans except Kaiser. Kaiser has its own integrated wellness program.
- Standardized and improved behavioral health benefits will be provided by United Behavioral Health (UBH) and will be available for all employee medical plans except Core. New behavioral health benefits for the Core medical plan will be provided by Blue Cross.
- CIGNA Choice Fund, a new health reimbursement account plus preferred provider organization plan (HRA/PPO) will be available at all locations.
- In-network preventive care, including doctor visits and immunizations, will be available at no cost in all plans.
- The Definity Health, High Option, PacifiCare, and Select EPO plans will be discontinued. Health Net and Kaiser will be UC's systemwide HMO plans.
