The UC Retirement Plan Benefit Estimator is a modeling tool that enables you to estimate University of California Retirement Plan (UCRP) benefit amounts, including monthly retirement income and the lump sum cashout. Estimates are based solely on information provided by you. Therefore, the estimates provided are not a guarantee of eligibility or benefit amounts. In order to obtain a benefit estimate, answer the following questions. The program will then calculate benefit estimates based on the data you entered. You need some basic information to begin. You can find your service credit information online (Choose "View Your Retirement Estimates"). IRS rules limit both the annual earnings upon which retirement benefits may be based and the total benefits payable in any calendar year from a defined benefit plan such as UCRP. This calculator provides an estimate of your possible retirement income, but it is not designed to account for the IRS limits. For more information, see the Summary Plan Description or talk with your Benefits Office. Note: If you are age 60 or over and you have 40 years or more of UC service credit, this estimator may not be able to accurately calculate your benefit. Please call your Benefits Office to obtain an accurate estimate.Do not use commas when entering values over 1000. |
