Service Credit
Page 1

Total Service Credit is the number of covered years that an employee has worked for the University.

Since Total Service Credit is a factor in calculating retirement benefits, employees are concerned about it.

This employee has well over 5 years Service Credit,
which is the minimum amount required for retirement benefits.

Most of the time, employees just want to know their Total Service Credit and what it means to their retirement picture.

Total Service Credit is on the Service Credit (F-Screen) screen, so you'll be able to locate and provide that information right away.

But what if an employee questions their total? What if they think there's been an error?

To find out, you can look up Service Credit details on the F-Screen.
