UCRS Tutorial

Welcome to the UCRS Membership System tutorial and field reference.

Here, you will find:

  • Four "lessons," which provide an overview of the screens and information available in the UCRS Membership System.
  • A comprehensive reference area to allow you to come back at any time and lookup field codes or definitions.

How to use this tutorial

First, work through the lessons in numbered order, starting with Lesson 1. At the end of each lesson is a short (ungraded) case-study exercise to check your comprehension of the major points.

After completing Lesson 4, take a few minutes to explore the reference area. This area is not intended to be read through and memorized. It's a tool that you can use at any time in the future to look up system field codes and definitions. Bookmark the first page of the reference area so that you can easily come back to it whenever you need it.

Finding where you left off

If you are going to complete the tutorial in more than one sitting, bookmark the last page you're on before quitting. To quit, simply leave the current browser page or close the browser window. When you want to come back, the bookmark will have saved your place.
