The contract between Sutter Health/Santa Cruz Medical Clinic and Health Net is scheduled to terminate on January 31, 2000 unless an agreement is reached before that date. Health Net and the clinic are currently negotiating.

In the event the contract is terminated, Health Net members enrolled with the Santa Cruz Medical Clinic will be provided with a special enrollment period to choose another medical plan. This means that Health Net members enrolled with the Santa Cruz Medical Clinic who wish to remain in Health Net do not need to take any action at this time. If the contract is terminated, Health Net members enrolled with this clinic will receive a notice at their home address.
