The 2003 Unit 18 Non-Senate Instructional Unit contract includes provisions for granting University of California Retirement Plan (UCRP) service credit to eligible NSI appointees to recognize qualified past periods of work at UC in temporary positions, which were excluded from UCRP membership. Requests for service credit under this program must be postmarked no later than December 31, 2004, in order to be processed. All requests must be accompanied by supporting payroll records. Read the program booklet for instructions on how to request an allocation, or go to your Benefits Office for assistance. This program is specifically for members of the Non-Senate Instructional Unit (Unit 18).
