Are there special provisions if I am on military leave because of the September 11 terrorist attacks?

Yes. If you are on active military leave as a result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, you are eligible for a supplement to your military pay for 365 days (following any period on regular pay status for which you are eligible based on your military leave). To request supplemental pay, get the Supplement to Military Pay Worksheet or ask your department for a copy. Complete the worksheet and attach a Leave and Earnings Statement, if available, as well as documentation of power of attorney, if you have designated such power. Return the worksheet and documents to your department.

There are also special provisions regarding benefits. For details, see the following question.
