UC employees can now get an online Verification of Employment by accessing the UC For Yourself website. The verification document shows your hire date, your title and salary, and your year-to-date earnings—total gross as well as federal taxable amount—for the current year and one prior year. Many lenders will accept this verification document as proof of employment, though some may also require you to provide W2 statements, pay advice statements, or employment confirmation from your department.
